Sophomore year is flying by. The first semester is almost over, only three more to go. I honestly sat at my work desk the other day and thought about how fast time is going. I feel like it was just yesterday I was so nervous to enter high school because I would be bullied by the "big people". I recently took my PSAT and am still waiting on my results which are scheduled to come sometime in December. I was surprised at how many of my fellow classmates were actually there to take the PSATs at 7am on a Saturday morning. School is draining the life out of me. & I barely leave my house because I'm always so busy with homework, projects and studying which has taken it's toll on my social life.. Just kidding, I never had a social life to begin with. Just kidding again, my social life isn't really being effected, I get to see my cousins every weekend and hangout with school friends once a month.

I love fashion and I would love to get an internship in New York City. That's my dream. Although I'm not positive of what I want to major in college, fashion is an option. I sketch clothes designs during my free time, most of them get thrown up but those few that I keep are ones that I think are amazing. I would LOVE to get them actually made so I can wear it and be proud that I myself designed this outfit. That would probably be such an amazing feeling. I wonder how Tory Burch feels when she carries around a Tory Burch handbag knowing that it's HERS. She designed it, had it made, and now she can use it whenever she wants to with the pride of it being hers.

Have you ever found yourself torn between two people? One person you've known longer than the other? But the other is getting more attention? You want to like the long time friend more than the new friend but thats not what your heart wants?

Being a girl is so difficult sometimes.

I want to Chuck E Cheese's today with my brother, sister and cousins!
I haven't been there in a really long time so going back today bought back so many memories.
I had so much fun and played so many games.
The pizza there is amazing, I had three slices which is a lot for me!

Yesterday was Eid, the celebration of nearly a month of fasting. I wore a black pencil skirt, a cute navy and red blouse with Tory Burch flats.
I had a great time with all my cousins, and family friends!
Now that fasting is over I can go back to hanging out with my friends and eating at regular times!

There has been so much pressure on me lately, school wise.
My parents, unfortunately never had the chance to go to college and they're not familiar with the system, lucky for them I am. I have done tons of research on college, what you need to do, how to get scholarships and much more.  They feel terrible not to be able to help my brother and I with our college preparations and SAT prep so they have been encouraging us to do much research on our own, figure out the system and such. I understand my parents, they want what's best for their children but it's still summer, there is a couple days remaining and I just want to enjoy those couple of days of relaxing and not have to worry about school just yet.

I woke up this afternoon and my cousin texted me asking me if I wanted to go to mall, I haven't been out of the house in a couple of days and I replied saying "Of course! Let me just go ask my mom!". I went downstairs to find my mom and soon realized she wasn't home. I tried calling her cell phone but she wouldn't pick it up. SO I reluctantly texted her back saying "Sorry, mom is not home and she won't pick up her phone. Have fun though!".
AND, my mom is out right now, I have no idea when she'll be back, I need to go get my eye brows down, and I need to take a trip to Target (my second favorite store). I hope she'll be back soon!

In the mean time while my mother is out I will be watching Zac Efron interviews on YouTube. Why? Because he's so gorgeous, funny, sweet, oh and did I mention gorgeous?

I have a few obsessions, one which you already know, Harry Potter.
As I stated before, it's amazing and if you haven't read it you're missing out on A LOT. The series changes you, in a great way. I would be in Gryffindor, Pottermore says so! I love Draco Malfoy, played by Tom Felton. He is so cute and he seems tough in the movies but he's a real softie in the inside!

Another obsession is One Direction. Not only are they five flawless guys they're all so unique and have some of the best personalities ever, not to mention they're great singers. The names of the members in the band are Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. They changed my life and I'm glad they did. They mean so much to me and I would do anything to be able to meet them or see them in concert. They have a song called "Moments", if you haven't heard it you can search it on YouTube. That song is so emotional and each time I hear it I just want to burst out in tears. They have made me new friends, most of us Directioners (that's what we true fans call ourselves) have twitters and we are up to date with what the boys are doing and we all talk to each other like one big and happy family!

Another obsession I have is Gossip Girl. That show is so amazing. I can spend hours and hours watching re-runs of episodes! It takes place in the city which is another reason why it attracts me so much! The main characters are Chuck, Blair, Serena, Dan, Vanessa, and Nate. I have a slight obsession with Chuck, he is gorgeous, has the cutest accent ever, and the fact that he is so quiet but thinks huge thoughts is another reason why I love him so much! Chuck is played by Ed Westwick, gorgeous man I'm telling you. Go to google, type in Ed Westwick GQ, click on images, and enjoy!
I know I'm super young to be planning my wedding but I have already started. I know my opinions will change as time passes but as for now I've got it all down!
My dream dress is from Alfred Angelo, the one pictured below. It's gorgeous and I just love everything about it.
My soon to be husband will be wearing a tuxedo, with a black bowtie.
My hair will be in a high bun with a mid-length veil.
The makeup will be simple and elegant.
The color theme would be purple. Purple isn't my favorite color but I think it looks great in weddings!
I know what the center pieces will look like, simple but elegant again.
My dream cake is four tiers, again with a simple but elegant look to it.
I know what I want my first dance song to be, but of course if my soon to be husband doesn't like it I can always compromise!
I know what I want my flower bouquet to look like; a mix of purple and white roses.
I want the feeling to be serene, intimate, and just a romantic feel.
For the cocktail I want to offer a variety of tasty finger foods, and delicious drinks such as Shirley temples, Pina Coladas and such, without alcohol of course!
For the desert I want to go wild with options! A candy station with workers handling the candy so it doesn't get too messy, a chocolate fountain complete with a massive variety of fruits, and pretzels, cupcakes on mini pedestals and the cake neatly sliced on plates on a table where guests can just take them.
That's all that has been planned so far but I think that's a sufficient amount of wedding planning already done!

In the first post I ever wrote I wrote that I have big plans laid ahead of me for my future and I'm here to talk about those plans!
I know for a fact that I want to go to college and my dream is to go to either Yale or New York University. I would go to either school for either their Law program or English program.
I'm currently in the middle of writing a novel. I have put so much work into this and I am so proud of it. I want to get my novel published in the near future, maybe in a year or two? I don't know exactly how hard it is to get a book published but I will try my best and if it doesn't get published then maybe that's what is meant to happen. Don't get me wrong though, I'm going to try my very best to get it published.
To get into a good college extra curricular activities is not necessary but will with no doubt look good on your transcript.
I'm planning on joining the swim team, the newspaper or yearbook club, and Speech and Debate (if my school has it this year).
There is a program called Friends For Change which was created by Disney and it's basically where a group of people get together and help the environment and the people in it. I want to talk to my guidance counselor or principal and ask them if I can create that group at my school. Going to the beach and collecting trash that people throw on the floor, creating food drives and clothes drives so we could donate it to the less fortunate families, visiting sick children at the hospital, showing families of the sick children that the community cares, and anything else that positively effects our surroundings!
A really close friend and I want to attend meetings with the school board, and student council and show them that there are still some teenagers that care about school.
Another thing I wanted to do, nothing big and not school related but I want to re-read the Harry Potter series! The books and movies are both so amazing, if you haven't read them you're missing out on A LOT.
I make videos of myself doing my hair and makeup with step by step instructions like those beauty gurus on YouTube but I only make them so I can watch them! It's fun to complete the look then watch the video and see how I did it, learn from mistakes and try it again another time! I don't think I would ever post it on YouTube, I just do it for my personal entertainment. I love watching beauty gurus! I learn new techniques from them and love to recreate the looks they create!
Shopping online is literally addicting. I have a wishlist on Forever 21 and it had around 40 pieces of clothes and accessories but I took some a lot of items out because I want to actually be able to afford the things I want. I lowered it to 15 items! I'll order it from online soon and hopefully get it before school starts on September 5th! I love back to school clothes shopping! It's so much because you get to purchase clothes for the fall and winter and I think the clothes at Forever 21, which is my favorite store if you couldn't guess that already, are better for the colder seasons. I dress modestly and during the summer I don't wear shorts and tank tops so it's hard to dress for the summer. I think the way you dress tells people what kind of person you are, that's why I take fashion very seriously. I want to give people the impression that I'm mature, and that I actually care about what I do, without even talking to them.
I also love school supply shopping! Getting new notebooks, folders with pretty designs, cool colored binders, mechanical pencils, different colored pens, and everything else!
I'm Muslim and I'm proud to be one! Not many people can say that but I can! On July 20th we started Ramadan. It's when we fast from sunrise to sunset for a month. People often ask or say "Don't you starve?" "You don't even get to drink water?" "That's torture!", but honestly it's not as bad as you think! I stay up till around five am, eating and drinking as much as I can, then I pray and I can't eat till around 7:50 pm! BUT, the good thing is that I sleep until four, waking up at 1 only to pray! So I'm only up for three and a half hours before I can eat again.
Ramadan is nearly over, with only one or two days left to fast and then we have Eid.
It's a celebration where families get together and just socialize. Every year my family, cousins, and family friends get together at a restaurant, dressed up in new and gorgeous clothes, and have a great time.
I have my outfit all ready and honestly I'm excited to wear it.
I love New York City. Everything about the Upper East and West side draws me in. I don't visit the city often, but I'm going to try to go more often! Maybe every other Saturday! I'll figure something out eventually. I want to live in that sophisticated, elegant, and classy life style. I want to be able to wake up in the morning, have my morning coffee, with a croissant and enjoy the view of the city. Shopping in the city is unreal. If you don't live anywhere near NYC you should travel here just to shop, it really is that amazing. From all the different stores you can shop at, to all the delicious cafes and restaurants there will most certainly be something that catches your eye!
I want an internship at a big designer company. It will teach me how to be more responsible, and how to work well with a group of people. A regular job can teach you that as well but in this economy finding a job is a bit difficult.
I'm a new blogger, and I'm here to talk about my life! I'm an ordinary teenager, but I'm super mature for my age (at least I think I am).
While others in my grade are thinking of partying and such I care about my education and actually have laid out huge plans for myself in the future!
I'm fourteen years old, I am going to be a sophomore this upcoming school year and I couldn't be more excited. My favorite color is turquoise, I could eat hamburgers for every single meal I have, the Harry Potter series is literally my life, baking is a hobby of mine, and shopping is therapy for me!
I was raised in a strict household where being mature wasn't an option and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my family so much. They mean so much to me, and they're so supportive of everything I do. I live with my mother, father, grandfather, grandmother, older brother, and younger sister.
My cousins are my best friends. My closest cousins live in another state so I don't see them very much, but when we do see each other we have so much fun and go crazy! I have cousins that live just a couple of minutes away from me and although I'm not too close to them because they're not in my age group, they're either 10 years older or a couple years younger.
I also have group of friends at school, there is seven of us, and we have great times when we're together. It's hard for all of us to get together because there are a lot of us and we have to think about each others schedules, but when we do get together it's all fun and games!
